課 程 目 標：本課程旨在簡介館藏發展的原則與實務，以及各類型圖書資料的組織方法。其對象以大學本科非圖書資訊學系的研究生為主，期能使他們對圖書資料的選擇採訪與分類編目作業有基本的認識。

課 程 內 容：課程內容包括：館藏發展的意義、館藏發展政策的內涵與擬定原則、圖書資料的選擇原則與採訪作業、中國編目規則、英美編目規則、中國圖書分類法、杜威十進分類法、國會分類法及標題法、Sears標題表、檢索款目的選定及權威控制等。
